1. General Service Disclaimer FixIT Computer & Tech makes every effort to provide accurate, reliable, and effective technical support. However, we do not guarantee that every issue can be resolved. In cases where the problem cannot be fixed on-site or remotely, no charges will be applied as per our No-Fix, No-Fee policy.
2. Hardware Repairs and Warranty Limitations We repair a wide range of hardware, including devices that may still be under manufacturer warranty. However, FixIT Computer & Tech is not responsible for any voided warranties resulting from repairs, part replacements, or other interventions. Customers must sign a waiver acknowledging this risk prior to service.
3. Service Limitations and No Guarantee of Specific Results While we strive to provide the highest quality service, FixIT Computer & Tech does not guarantee that every issue can be resolved or that our services will meet your specific expectations. Certain problems may be beyond our ability to fix due to factors such as hardware limitations, software corruption, or other unforeseen issues. We will communicate any such limitations to you promptly.
4. Data Loss and Backup Responsibility Customers are solely responsible for backing up their data prior to any service. FixIT Computer & Tech is not liable for any data loss, corruption, or breach that may occur during or after service. We recommend regular backups and can provide guidance on backup solutions upon request.
5. Third-Party Parts and Software We source parts from trusted third-party vendors. FixIT Computer & Tech is not liable for defects, malfunctions, or compatibility issues with third-party components or software recommended or installed as part of our services. Customers are responsible for understanding and adhering to the licensing agreements of any third-party software.
6. Limited Warranty on Services and Parts We offer a 30-day limited warranty on labor and a 90-day warranty on parts provided by FixIT Computer & Tech, covering defects in workmanship and materials. This warranty does not cover issues resulting from misuse, unauthorized modifications, or external factors such as power surges or physical damage. Warranty claims must be accompanied by the original service receipt.
7. Abandoned Equipment Policy Equipment left unclaimed for more than 30 days after service completion will be considered abandoned. FixIT Computer & Tech reserves the right to dispose of or recycle abandoned equipment to recover service costs. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you before taking such action.
8. Security Systems Installation and Maintenance FixIT Computer & Tech installs and configures security systems to the best of our ability. However, we are not responsible for security breaches, hardware malfunctions, or incidents that occur after installation. Proper use and maintenance of security equipment are the customer’s responsibility.
9. Priority and After-Hours Support Priority and after-hours support services are subject to availability. While we strive to respond as quickly as possible, FixIT Computer & Tech does not guarantee immediate response times outside of regular business hours.
10. Training and Support Limitations Our training sessions and tech support are tailored to individual needs. However, we do not guarantee that users will acquire specific skills or outcomes from training sessions.
11. Payment and Refund Policy Payments are due upon completion of service unless otherwise arranged. Refunds are only provided in cases where FixIT Computer & Tech deems the service unsatisfactory or incomplete, in line with our No-Fix, No-Fee policy. Partial refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
12. Liability Limitation FixIT Computer & Tech, including its employees and agents, is not liable for any damages, including lost profits or data, arising from services provided. This limitation applies to any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services.
13. Indemnification Clause By utilizing our services, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless FixIT Computer & Tech, its employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to any violations of third-party rights or applicable laws.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These disclaimers and any disputes arising from our services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington. Any legal actions or proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the courts located within King County, Washington.
15. Severability If any provision of these disclaimers is found to be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render these disclaimers unenforceable or invalid as a whole. Such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.
16. Changes to Terms We reserve the right to update these disclaimers and terms at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes that may affect their ongoing service agreements.
